The JAM Email Sender sends emails from your indicators and strategies at any time, formatted in any way you want, with no restrictions.

It’s straightforward to send email alerts from your TradeStation indicators and strategies.  You set an Alert in your EasyLanguage code…

Enable emails in the indicator properties…

And that’s it.

The problem is a) all your emails must go to the pre-specified email address.

And b) your emails then look like this…

If you want emails with more information, emails that can be sent to lists of people (including blind copying), indicators that can send different alerts to different people, or emails that look more professional then you need the JAM Email Sender.

The JAM Email Sender is an external email program that gives you total control over your emails.  You create your email on the fly, provide a list of names, then ‘send’.  All from within your EasyLanguage indicators and strategies.

You can now have emails properly laid out, with any information in them you wish to add.

You can send to users specified in your indicators, or lists of users specified in text files.  You can ‘To’, ‘CC’ or ‘BCC’ in any combination you want.

Or take things to the next level.  Send emails with full html/css, graphics, company logos etc.  Everything is possible with the JAM Email Sender!

Using the JAM Email Sender can be very simple.  At its simplest, you replace the ‘Alert()’ line in your EasyLanguage code.

So you can send an email, specifying the subject line, content, To, CC and BCC email addresses as simply as this

Alternatively, you can specify a text file with the email addresses…

Of course, the JAM Email Sender is much more powerful than this. Bigger, more complex emails are built using ‘FileAppend’ to create the email as a text file.

So you need to be comfortable editing code and using the EasyLanguage editor.  If this frightens the life out of you then you may need some of my time to get it up and running, but this time is not included as part of the purchase price of this product.  If you need additional assistance then you will need to purchase consulting time from me – please contact me for a quote.

The second example above was built using the same FileAppend EasyLanguage code, but with the addition of HTML/CSS coding.  Again, JAM can help build more complex emails, but this isn’t included in the purchase price of this product.

There are example indicators in the package, and documentation to help you along. The power of this product is in its flexibility so it can be as simple or as complex as you want.

Make sure that the volume of emails you send is within your email providers guidelines.  Free email providers (such as Gmail or Hotmail)  have very low send limits e.g. 500 emails per day (and 5 emails sent to 100 people = 500 emails).  For medium to high volumes of emails you will need to use a paid-for email provider.  If you need to send very high volumes of emails then you should be using products like MailChimp and AWeber.  If you wish to use these products for sending emails from TradeStation then please contact me.

Important: This product must not be used to send spam.  It may only be used to send emails to people who have actively subscribed to your emails and have the option of easily unsubscribing.
